Home/Services/Co-Managed IT Support

Your IT person stays. We handle the rest.

We work alongside your internal team, taking 24/7 coverage, security and cloud depth, and the projects they do not have time for.

Your IT person stays. We handle what they do not have time for.

You do not need an MSP that wants to replace them.

If you already have an IT director, a manager, or a couple of IT staff, you do not need an MSP that wants to replace them. You need a partner that makes them more effective.

Co-managed IT means we work alongside your team, taking the 24/7 coverage, specialized security and cloud depth, after-hours load, and project muscle they cannot get to. They keep their seat and the business knowledge that comes with it. We backstop everything else — typically 40–60% cheaper than full outsourcing, and fully modular.

Sound familiar?

Signs your team needs backup.

01

Your IT person is buried

80% firefighting, 20% planning. Co-managed flips that ratio.

02

After-hours is a problem

No more 3am server reboots or 11pm line-down pages for your director.

03

Specialized gaps

Security, cloud, and network depth one or two people cannot cover alone.

04

PTO and vacation coverage

Continuity when your internal team is out. Nothing sits and waits.

05

Strategic work stalls

The partner we place takes the routine ops, so your team can do the work that moves the business.

06

Right-sized and modular

Add or remove services anytime. You only buy the backup you need.

A clean division of labor.

What they keep, and what we take.

What you will notice in the first 90 days.

A typical co-managed start.

1

First 30 days

We slot in behind your team, taking the after-hours, overflow, and projects that pull them off priorities.

2

By day 60

Your tools, monitoring, and documentation are standardized so nothing depends on one person's memory.

3

By day 90

Your team focuses on the business while the partner we place owns the grind — tickets, patching and the 2 a.m. alerts — to a written SLA we hold them to.

Common questions about co-managed IT.

Before you change the org chart

Are you trying to replace our IT person?
No. The whole model depends on them staying. They keep control and the business knowledge, and we take the load.
How is this priced against full outsourcing?
Usually a fraction of full outsourcing, because you are buying coverage and depth rather than an entire IT department. We will put real numbers against your headcount.
Can we start small?
Yes. It is modular. Most clients start with after-hours coverage or SOC alerting and add from there.
Whose tools do we use?
Usually yours, standardized and documented. We are vendor-neutral, so there is no house platform you have to adopt.
What happens when our IT director is on vacation?
Coverage continues. Documentation and monitoring are already in place, so nothing sits and waits for one person.
Our director stopped taking 2 a.m. pages and started getting projects finished.
